Packaging

At Jupiter Transportation LLC, we offer professional freight and cargo packaging services pending transportation or distribution of the same.

We package shipments in either of the following methods:

Freight cardboard boxes – We package light-weight items that are not susceptible to damages in cardboard boxes.

Freight bags – We also use freight bags that have corrugated cardboard trays on top of the pallet under the bottom bag to help stabilize the freight for shipments that can withstand pressure and compression. Examples of such shipments are fertilizers, cereals (rice, corn, wheat), seeds, dried fruits, sugar, coconut, coffee, fresh vegetables, and flour.

Wooden cases – At Jupiter Transportation LLC, we use wooden cases for freight and cargo packaging because they are strong and can handle the rigors of travel. They can also be easily stacked with other shipments without suffering damage.

Wooden crates – We also use wooden crates in freight and cargo packaging because they are strong, sturdy, and durable. Wooden crates differ from wooden cases in that they are open while the cases are closed. Wooden crates are more suitable for those shipments that require ample protection but are not very sensitive. Their distinct advantage is that shipments can easily be offloaded.

Drums – AtJupiter Transportation LLC, we use steel or sturdy plastic drums to package liquid shipments.

Bales – We also use bales in freight and cargo packaging for those items that are considered to be of lesser value like sawdust or coal. We also use the same to package clothing items.

Pallets – We use pallets in freight and cargo packaging since they are sturdy and provide solid foundations for loading and unloading. The best pallets are wood and plastic ones since they provide sufficient strength and stability to your shipment. Most of the other types of packaging will need pallets for easier transportation.
